Hi family & friends!
As of September 29th, 2017, we are LIVE!
While technically this means we could get a special phone call any second now, we know that our incredible agency has lots of waiting families still ahead of us, so we don't expect to hear anything for some time. But, you never know... so please keep the prayers coming!
The "profile book" that we made (i.e. a scrapbook that our agency will use to introduce us to birthmothers) isn't being shown regularly yet, but we will let you know when it is so that you can beef up your prayers! :)
In the meantime, please be praying for the health & safety of our birth mom, and the health & safety of our little guy(s) or girl(s)... crazy to think he/she/they could be alive RIGHT NOW!
For those of you who don't know, we are in a "domestic infant" program, meaning we will most likely be matched with an expectant mother in her third trimester... HOWEVER, we have said we're open to siblings & kiddos ages 0-4, as our agency facilitates a range of placement scenarios – single births, twins, pregnancies + sibling(s), and even placements of younger kids initiated by mothers hoping to keep their precious ones out of the foster care system. We've said "bring it on!" to it all, and are so excited & curious to see what God has in store for our family!
