GUESS WHAT! We've made the amazing decision to ADOPT! We have been accepted into the Domestic Infant Adoption program. Meaning we are hoping to adopt an infant from the United States (most likely Oregon or Washington!)

As many of you know we have struggled to grow our family since the birth of our son, Ryder. In the last 18 months we have had three miscarriages that all required surgery. The first we found out our daughter died at 16 weeks pregnant and the last two both at 13 weeks pregnant. As devestating and heartbreaking as all three losses were we never turned away from God. We believe in our hearts that He has a plan for our lives and we feel that His plan for us is adoption. We are so excited (and a little nervous) for this journey. We are trusting God and asking for your help!

We've started a fundraiser on Pure Charity to raise the funding that we need to make our adoption a success. Adoption is not cheap, but it will be oh so worth it! The total cost to our agency is $29,000! (That doesn't include travel, food, lodging, etc.) We have a donations goal of $25,000 that will go towards the initial cost of the adoption. The first large payment we must pay is a $12,000 lump sum! We must do this before we can be an official "waiting family!" Meaning until we pay that fee in full our profile will not be viewed by any prospective birth parents. Then once matched with a birth mom and placement is complete we will have another lump sum of $13,500 due. Since we have no idea when we will be matched we must have the money as soon as possible! 

What's so cool about Pure Charity is that all donations are tax deductible and are distributed directly to our agency when funds are due! We personally don't handle any of the donations, its all done through Pure Charity and our agency! 

Every tax deductible donation will bring us one step closer to completing our family. Would you kindly consider making a donation? Also, we would appreciate your willingness to share this with others who may want to participate.
