Welp. I did it. I tried something out of my comfort zone and told the world that we were having our profile shown to not one but two birth mothers. Unfortunately, that leap of fate did not help and now here I am doing exactly what I dreaded. 

We were not selected by either birth mother this week. I thought you would all like an update.
