Friendships, exercise, sportsmanship and life lessons. That's what Youth Sports provides.
In the fall of each year, youth from all over the city dig out their cleats and converge on Orange Terrace Park in the Orangecrest neighborhood of Riverside, CA. Kids from all neighborhoods learn how to work as a team, push through physical fatigue and get along with teammates who may attend other schools.
We started this fundraiser on Pure Charity to raise $3,000 for the Orangecrest Wolves Jr. Pee Wee Red Team, coached by the beloved Chris Goodsite, known to all of us as Coach Goody.
Every penny of this goes to pay league fees, team insurance, team-building activities and thank you gifts for our volunteers. T-Shirts for the athletes, yard signs (which delight the boys) and an end of season celebration will also be covered by this fundraising campaign.
Costs associated with football add up quickly, so we are asking our friends and family to help invest in these memories for these boys.
We're asking everyone we know to donate $35. Would you please join with us and help raise $3,000 to support our team this season?
Thank you so much for being a part of our lives and helping us keep youth sports and the friendships, exercise and life lessons going through Orangecrest Wolves Football.
As Coach Goody ends each practice, he has the boys circle up and chant, "Every day, in every way, we get a little better, hey!" Help us to provide chances for our kids to be around the positive influence of coaches like Goody by donating today!
