As a teenager I have volunteered for Lakepointe VBS and I have been on Mission Arlington to share Jesus through VBS with disadvantaged children. I have volunteered in other areas in my community including the SPCA and our church.  I am always blessed by helping other children and seeing what all they need. I currently play year-round basketball, pole vaulting and I have been active in our Awana program since I was 5 years old.  As a student, I maintain an A average in all classes.  I love children and I helping my neighbors take care of their pets, (horses, chickens, cats, & dogs), anytime they need it.  My mom has volunteered in our church and in our schools and community my whole life and has always wanted us kids and herself to go on missions around this country and the world.   

This summer God has paved the way for my mom and I to go on an international mission trip to San Jose, Costa Rica with Fellowship Church Royse City, Texas.  In the capital city of San Jose, we will be partnering with small church plants to expand the Kingdom in their area. 

 This mission trip was inspired by my basketball coach for the team to continue to share the news of Jesus, inspire others and strengthen our own personal relationship with God through basketball. During our trip we will be conducting a basketball camp, sharing the Gospel, discipling people in the church, meeting various needs, and doing kid’s Bible clubs.  We will be teaming up with other eager adults and youth working hard to be part of this trip.

 I am writing to ask if you would partner with us to impact Costa Rica.  There are a couple of ways you can help. First and most importantly, you can pray for us as we prepare to go and while we are there. Second, we need family and friends to help us cover the cost of the travel, lodging, food and ministry expenses for the trip. The trip is June 2nd – 8thth and the cost of the trip is $3500 for both of us.
