We are approved!

Our initial adoption application has been approved!  Our next step is to schedule a home study and, in order to move ahead to the Korea Program, we will need to pay the U.S. Processing Fee 1 and the IAAME fee.

Praise God for a smooth start to this process!  We are on our way to meeting our next child!

Current prayer needs:

• Please pray for God to provide the financial resources for these fees to be covered
  
• Please pray that the social worker will find our home a safe, supportive, and nurturing place to raise our next child.

Current financial needs:

• U.S. Processing Fee #1 - This is a processing fee covering the adoption organization's cost to facilitate our adoption with agency and government officials in both the United States and Korea. 
• IAAME Fee - This is a fee to the Department of State's accrediting entity, which is responsible for monitoring and overseeing all U.S International adoption activity. 
• Adoption Home-study Fee - A social worker will conduct background checks, obtain references, conduct a home visit, and interview all household members to gather information for the assessment. An extensive report about our family will be written to meet state, U.S. and Korea requirements.
