Hi Friends,

We continue to patiently wait to be matched with our child.  Our prayer is that the match will occur sometime early this fall.  

In the meanwhile we are completing some additional parent trainings and have taken a course on Korean History and Culture.  We have also continued to save and look for grants.  We have saved/raised 80% of our needed finances for the adoption (based on minimum estimates) and believe we have saved enough for the adoption program fee when it comes due.  Praise God!  We are currently saving for expenses related to travel and immigration.

Thank you for your continued prayers and support in this season of waiting.

We ask you to please join us as we continue to pray: 

For our child to:

• Be healthy and cared for in all his/her physical needs
  
• Receive love and care from his/her caregivers and foster parents
  
• Know secure attachment and trust that his/her needs will be met by those who care for him/her

For our child's birth mother to have:

• Hope in a bright future filled with abundant blessings
  
• Peace of mind and heart for the incredible sacrifice she made for her child
  
• Respect from others for the decision she chose
  
• Comfort and grace for choosing life over abortion
  

For the foster mother (family) who will care for our child in S. Korea to:

• Love our child with the unconditional love he/she so dearly needs
  
• Know the love and admiration we have for her as the first mother (family) our child will know
  
• Be comforted that we will love and nurture our/her child with all we have to give
  

For Noah to:

• Grow in love for his new brother or sister
  
• Know that our love for him will never be diminished by our love for his new sibling
  
• Feel secure in our growing and changing family
