Hi! We are Jeff and Amanda Lovett and here is our story.  We have been married for 6 years and are currently living overseas working at an international school.  In 2011, Amanda had a laparoscopic surgery and was diagnosed with endometriosis.  After many attempts at pregnancy and having no children, we realized something was wrong.  In 2014, Amanda underwent a total hysterectomy. Knowing we would eventually adopt made the healing much easier.

As the adoption process is such a long and difficult journey Gods grace has been the only thing that is keeping us holding on. We were previously matched with a 2 year old child from Korea, and as our hearts became close to this little boy, we received an email stating that the Korean government just gave away our soon to be adopted baby to an Australian couple, because a clerical mistake was made and he was listed with two different agencies. Our adoption agency fought for us, but there was nothing that could be done. After getting so close to having a child and having them taken away, my heart is broken. It is like going through the same struggles of not getting pregnant over and over again. Life is hard we get it, but sometimes I can't help but wonder when we will see the light at the end of the tunnel we are going thru. Our faith in God is the only thing that helps us to keep it together. We can do all things thru Christ who gives us strength. 

We had originally started a fundraiser on Pure Charity, because we had a previously identified child that was in a foster home, but now we are continuing this fundraiser, because all of the paper mistakes of the world does not and will not make me bury this deep longing to have a child. I will seek peace and perseverance as I conquer every fear and heartbreak that lies ahead. I am begging you to stand not behind me but with me. We need every ounce of encouragement that you can give and whether or not you give $1.00 or more it gives us the ability to stand strong and continue this journey knowing that you are with us. 

We have made a commitment to ourselves and now to you that we WILL literally PAY IT FORWARD. So, every dollar that is donated to us is not only helping our child have a loving home, but we will find another special couple in the process of adoption, and donate that same amount to them once we are able to do so. 

We have a donations goal of $20,000 that will go directly to our adoption agency towards the initial cost of the adoption. It's been our dream to help give a child an opportunity like this and we hope that you will consider helping us make our dream a reality.
