Since graduating from the University of Arkansas in Spring 2023, I have started a year-long residency with Cross Church’s School of Ministry. Over the course of this next year, I will be learning and gaining experience that will be fundamental to my career in ministry. What this residency looks like for me is a year of being on staff with Cross Church Fayetteville’s College Ministry team, as well as earn graduate school credit for the course work that I will complete. Another important part of this year will be the opportunity to take part in domestic and international mission trips.

By the time this year is done, I will have been to Longmont, Colorado in the Fall, and the Dominican Republic in the Spring. While in Longmont, a suburb of Denver, we will be supporting a church plant and partner, Connection Church. In addition to supporting the church directly, the goal of the trip to reach the people of Longmont with the good news of the Gospel. While in the Dominican Republic, our team have the privilege to host a conference for local pastors and ministry leaders. In this conference, we hope to equip and build up the Lord’s Church in the Dominican Republic so that they would be as effective for the Kingdom as possible.

Over the course of this year, I would like to include you in building the Church in two ways:

First, I would ask that you join me in prayer as we ask God to move over the next year. While we are traveling and serving various churches and communities, we can’t expect God to move if we don’t seek Him first. While we can labor for the Gospel, it will ultimately be in vain of the Lord is not present.

The second way you can take part in what the Lord is doing this year is to give toward the Lord’s mission. I am looking to raise $5,000 to cover the cost of the trips that I will be on this year, and giving allows you the opportunity to take part in the mission from wherever you are.
