Mardock Market had it's first Market Day this month and it was so much fun!  Over the last few months the Texas Mardocks have been working hard to create handmade items to sell with all of the proceeds going towards our adoption.  Carol, Angela, and I spent all day in our booth on the adorable Georgetown square telling people our story and raising money.  We met quite a few people that were impacted by our story and a couple of amazing people that God used to encourage us on this journey. 

When we first decided to adopt we made the decision to do everything we could as a family to raise as much of the money ourselves as we could.  We knew it would be hard and frustrating at times and that we would have to be patient and trust in the Lord, and boy is that true!  We have raised a little over $700 in the last few months and added another $700 to that number after this Market Day.  We plan on participating in two more Market Days in the hopes of raising enough money to officially apply to adopt and would love to have all of your prayers and support!  Although it is going much slower than we anticipated we are trusting in God's perfect timing and continue to pray for the child God has set aside for our family.
