Our family of five is in the process of becoming a family of SIX! All our paperwork is done, fingerprints submitted to USCIS, and our Dossier is en route to Port-Au-Prince, Haiti. We have decided to adopt a 4-7 year old boy, and are SO excited to grow our family this way! 

This whole process is as much a blessing to our family as we can be to our new "little man". We know there are many difficult challenges ahead of us in this process, the first being the WAIT. Knowing that we have another piece of our family that is untouchable at the moment and so far away is like living with an empty seat at the table that looks more and more each day like the shadow of a little one. 

We have a few avenues of fundraising right now, we roast and sell our own coffee beans (available on our wordpress site above), and are planning a Silent Auction event in November (also on our site). We have a jewelry designer that has customized two beautiful necklaces for our cause as a fundraiser, and $12 from each necklace purchase goes to our adoption fund as well! Links below:

We've started a fundraiser on Pure Charity to raise the funding that we need to make our adoption a success. We have a donations goal of $15,000 to raise on Pure Charity that will go towards our adoption costs. This is only a portion of the estimated $35,000 that is needed for our family's adoption. It's long been our desire and passion to help give a child an opportunity like this, but also to give our family the diversity and growth opportunity like this, and we hope that you will consider helping us make our dream a reality.
