Happy New Year!
We are excited about this new year and it is our prayer that we can bring home our child(ren) by the end of the year. Christmas is now over and we are "snowed in" for the weekend. Not really, but it has been a good opportunity for us to work on our adoption checklist that seems never ending! We feel a new sense of urgency to get our child(ren) home. We have been very blessed to have people in our life reach out and give towards our adoption. We are so humbled and blessed!
It began with a big pink bucket full of change. It was not expected. We really didn't think the donor of this change was too excited about our adoption. We had no idea how much money was in the bucket. The girls and I guessed how much we thought it could be. We were very wrong! We took it all to a change machine at our bank.  It was a large amount of money! We couldn't believe anyone would be so generous! It was just so wonderful to know that we had the support of someone who is so important in our lives. 
Since that time we have had two other generous donations from two special, completely unexpected, families. We were overwhelmed with emotion. We are so grateful for the love and support we have received. The money that was given has gone directly to our adoption agency, Christian Adoption Services. Unfortunately, I am unable to list it here on the PureCharity goal but we will update the total needed here on this account.
