Here is a long overdue update on our adoption staus: we were matched in march of 2020 with a sibling group of 4!!! We felt right away that these were meant to be our children and quickly started to move forward in the adoption process. Two weeks later we found out we were pregnant!!!!!!!!!! And then of course, about that time, covid started to turn the world upside down. After months of waiting to see what Costa Rica would determine and having to get a whole new homestudy (because our original agency would not support us in adopting older children since we were having a baby-crazy, right?!), we were told by Costa Rica that we would have to wait until the first of the year to continue the adoption process. They wanted us to make sure we would still want to adopt after having a baby..
 We gave birth to Aralia Fearless in December 2020 and in January we started again with homestudy updates and immigration approvals and resubmitted all of our new paperwork to Costa Rica in early spring of 2021. We have put a lot of extra time and expenses into this adoption and have learned a whole new level of patience over the last year. We believe God is working out something crazy amazing through all of this and that He is keeping our children safe and preparing us all for the perfect timing that we will meet.
