I wanted to take a moment and share with you what I have been doing this past year and for the rest of 2024. In August, I stayed in Northwest Arkansas to attend the Cross Church School of Ministry. The CCSM is a one-year ministry residency where I gain “on the job” ministry experience, the opportunity to earn academic credit, and travel around the globe on mission trips.

This year has been and is going to continue to be great as God prepares me for ministry. I am focusing on college ministry at the Cross Church Fayetteville Campus. I will also receive course credit towards a future seminary degree. Throughout this residency I will be traveling domestically and internationally on mission trips. I am beyond excited and grateful about what God has in store.

In October of 2023, as a cohort we travelled to Longmont, Colorado. There, we partnered with Connection Church pastored by Doug and Dana Hixson. We stayed in Longmont for a week, while serving Connection Church and the greater Longmont area. We canvassed neighborhoods, inviting families to park parties and church service on Sunday. We were able to share the gospel with families and their children as we offered them hotdogs, cotton candy, snow cones, and a multitude of bounce houses. We saw many people's eyes opened to the beauty and necessity of the local church. 

In April, we will be traveling to the Dominican Republic for a week. We will be leading a small conference on the Great Commission for 20-30 pastors and their families. They will consist of mostly Dominicans, some Haitian as well. As we have begun to prepare for this trip, we are praying that the Lord will go before us and make the message of the Gospel clear even amidst language barriers. As we saw in Longmont, we are believing that the Lord’s heart for his people would be made known and that many would come to know Jesus personally.  

 I am asking for your help in two ways:

1. Pray! This is the most important and essential way you can help me. Pray for the people of Longmont and the Dominican Republic to open their hearts to the Lord, our local missionaries and pastors as they organize and prepare for our arrival, safety and financial provision for each team member, and spiritual strength throughout our entire journey.
