Haiti, here we come!

From May 13th to 20th, I will serve in Neply, Haiti, alongside 3 professors and 14 peers from the occupational therapy and physical therapy programs at Navarro College.
We are partnering with a Christ-centered organization called My Life Speaks.
(http://www.mylifespeaks.com) My Life Speaks ministers to the village of Neply through numerous ministries, including feeding programs and orphan prevention. 
 
My team will specifically volunteer in the therapy clinic, experiencing first-hand the joys and challenges of providing occupational and physical therapy for special needs children. This trip is an excellent opportunity to see therapy and missions overlap, which I look forward to pursuing in the future.
