Ethan and I have some exciting fundraising news! We have launched our first tee-shirt campaign. If you would like to support us and get a cool tee-shirt, please check out our campaign at the link posted below. We have several styles to choose from in both adult and youth sizes and two color choices: black and gray. When you purchase a tee-shirt, it will get shipped directly to you at the end of our 21-day fundraiser. The tee shirt prices range from $25-$30 and when one is purchased Ethan and I get 45% of the profits. Our goal is to sell 50 t-shirts, if we can meet our goal, we will have raised $500 for our adoption fund.

            As we launch this first fundraiser, we thought we would share a little bit about exactly what your money is going for and what Ethan and I are personally doing to come up with as much of the money as possible.

First, we have tightened our budget and have eliminated all unnecessary expenses from our budget. No more fast food, no more expensive date nights, and very limited and small vacations.

Secondly, we set a goal of raising $2,000 by the end of October. To reach this goal we have several things planned.

·         Tee-shirt fundraiser

·         Selling several large items that have been donated online, and things around our house we don’t need anymore.

·         Fundraising letters being mailed out to friends and family

·         Dump our yard pop can drive:

o   We are collecting pop cans and holding a huge community-wide pop can drive on October 16th. We will be spreading the word online, to our church and family, and friends. You can drop your pop cans off to us or send us a text and we will come and pick them up. More information about this event will be sent out soon.

·         We also have coin jars that we are passing out. If you are a family that has a lot of coins or cash, please let us know if you would like to donate it to our cause. We can give you a jar to collect all that loose change.

With the donations, we have already received and the cash we have set aside we are almost halfway to our $2,000 Goal.

 

We have had some questions about the exact cost of and where your generous donations are going. Since choosing a different agency we have a new breakdown of exactly what our adoption is going to cost and where the money is going to go.

            $3,900 application and home study cost

            $300 monthly agency fee

            $26,000 for legal and court fees: this includes the above two costs.

With extra fees and costs, we have been able to lower our fundraising goal even lower to now $30,000. At first, we were devastated by having to switch agencies, but God knew what he was doing when he closed that door and opened the door to Greater Hope.

WE ask for your prayers as we raise the funds needed to make our dream come true. There is no pressure to give a donation and we will never pressure anyone to give money. We ask that you pray about how and if God can use you to bless us. Whether that be through prayer or by a donation or by both.
