Pop Can Drive! Posted about ago
Hello Family and Friends,
Ethan and I are so excited to share some great news with you all. This past weekend we had our pop can drive and it was a huge success. We had lots of families stop by our home and drop off pop cans, we also had several families contact us to pick pop cans up. The result of everyone's generosity is about two trailers fulls of pop cans. It currently looks like a giant pile of trash on our driveway. But to us, it is a giant pile of money and we are so excited to start returning the pop cans so we can determine how much money we made.
But that's not the only good news we have to share. In the last few weeks, we have received several cash donations, and checks mailed to us. With all those donations, our own savings, and items we have sold on market place we have reached our October of $2,000. In fact, after we return all the pop cans we are confident we will have the $3900 needed to start our home study process. This is huge for us and we are so excited to be able to start the very first big step in our adoption journey.
Thank you to everyone who has donated cash, checks, and directly to our blog. Thank you for every single can that was donated. Ethan and I are extremely blessed to have so many wonderful friends and family. God showed up in a big way in our lives during the last month and it is only because of all of you. WE do not have words to say how grateful we are to all of you except Thank you, Thank you, thank you.
One thing Ethan and I do when we receive a donation we say a pray for whoever it is from, even if it is anonymous. So please know that all of our friends and family are being prayed over a lot. Every time we head to the store to return the cans, you and your families are being prayed for.
With that, I will wrap up this post by asking God to bless you and your family. To all our family and friends who have blessed us we pray for God's blessing on you.
