Hello family and friends,
We hope you had a great Christmas and that you made many memories with your family. The Niemeyer's had a wonderful Christmas and are looking forward to the new year with the hope and excitement of growing our family.

First, let me start by saying that we are greatly enjoying our adoption agency and are so thankful to have found a wonderful place to make this journey a little less confusing and stressful. Our caseworker Mya is wonderful and so helpful and the agency has made it so easy to understand what our next steps are.
Yesterday ( Monday 12/27) Mya visited our home, took pictures, and inspected our home for any hazards. Because of the daycare, Val runs out of our home we were not too worried about this visit. We turned in more paperwork and were given more paperwork to fill out. We also get to start the New year out by taking training classes reading more books and continuing to learn about what it means to be an adoptive family in an open adoption. We are excited to dive deeper into this adoption journey to prepare us to be the best possible parents to our children. 

our next home visit from our caseworker is scheduled for January 25th. Please pray for us as we try to stay organized and work hard to complete everything we need to in a timely manner to complete our home study on time by March 8th.
