ABOUT NWAWSThe NWA Women's Shelter serves the women, children and men in our community affected by domestic violence.
Our services include: safe shelter, food/clothing/personal care items/etc., one-on-one advocacy, children's advocacy, legal advocacy, adult/child support groups, financial aid, counseling, outreach services, safety planning, and more all at no cost.
WHAT DOES MY DONATION MEANAll of our services are offered at no cost to our clients. Your donation uplifts our mission to provide food, clothing, personal care items, household items, services, and other needed items that help our clients as they make the difficult journey towards a new life, free of violence.
SURVIVOR STORIES
Advocates at the Northwest Arkansas Women’s Shelter incorporate art to help survivors of domestic violence process, heal, and identify emotions. Art is also used as a channel for self-identification and expression, and for developing each individual’s voice.
