I have been presented with an opportunity to make a difference and be the change I want to see in this world. During April 25-May 05, 2019 I will be going to Jinja, Uganda with the Sole Hope foundation. Our two week trip will focus on offering hope, healthier lives, and freedom from foot-related diseases through education, jobs, and medical relief. One of the primary focus is to help children and adults become and remain jigger free.

Each week Sole Hope helps about 400 people – mainly children – become jigger-free by hosting two clinics in remote villages and schools in and around Jinja, Uganda. Each clinic starts with every person’s feet being washed. Then a medically trained professional removes jiggers and bandages the wounds. During this trip I will be participating in these clinics and helping with education.

I’m excited about the opportunity and experience that lie ahead. I hope you see the value in what we will accomplish. As you can imagine, a trip like this requires financial support from a number of people. I need to raise $3780.00 by February 15th.
