We have exciting news – we are adopting!

We love the story God is writing for our family.  Although we experienced the pain of a miscarriage in 2018 and have been struggling with infertility for the past year, we are so very grateful for the chance to become parents through adoption and cannot wait to welcome a child into our home!

We have completed our home study (a lot of paperwork about the details of our family/home and interview process). Now the hard part…. we wait to be matched with the right birth mother and child. It might surprise you to know (as it did for us) the adoption process can be extremely expensive! Examples of some of the costs include agency fees, attorney fees, medical expenses, home study costs, background checks, travel expenses, and court fees to name just a few. In short, we cannot do this alone. We are praying for God to show up in a big way! We would love for you (or your business) to consider coming alongside us financially and supporting us in our dream to have a family of our own. We hope by inviting you into this journey with us, you will see yourself as part of our family’s community by helping to provide a home for a child.

We don’t want this to be just another adoption story.  We want this to be a God story.  A story of love, grace and mercy.  We would love for you to pray for a couple specific needs.  First, we want and need God to continue to guide us as we make decisions.  Secondly, we ask you pray for the birth mom and child God has for us. We believe the birth mom is making the most loving and courageous decision she can make regarding her situation.  Thank you for joining us on this journey.
