We are still in AZ Posted about ago

Hate that we haven't updated sooner... but this week has been a bit of a whirlwind.

First ... Court was Wednesday and everything went smoothly!  The ICPC paperwork has been submitted to AZ and then it will be sent to GA...should take about 7-10 days.

Now...why it has taken us so long to update.  Walker started running a fever this past Tuesday...so we ended up at Phoenix Children's Hospital.  It was a very long night...blood drawn, urine sample and spinal tap on our 2 week year old son...that does a number on a mama's heart.  They admitted us pretty quickly as it was clear within in an hour that he had a UTI. On Wednesday after the 12 hr marker they found that bacteria should up in his blood.

Good news in all this
1. Spinal Tap was clean and clear and has stayed clean and clear
2. Ultrasound and some dye test shows that all kidney, bladder, internal function is normal
3. The antibiotic that Walker was given cleared up the bacteria in the blood pretty quickly because the next blood culture was negative. (actually 2 more and both were negative of bacteria)
4. Walker has been fever free since Wednesday morning

Bad but good news
This hospital is AWESOME!!  They are crossing every t and dotting every i
The infectious disease doctor here is requiring 10-14 days of IV antibiotics(we are on day 3 of the 10 minimum).  I love that they are taking such good care of my our little guy. I love that they are being super cautious and Walker is getting back to his normal happy self every day!!

Stephen came back out here to be with us in the hospital for the weekend. He will fly back home on Sunday.  My mom will stay with Walker and I until we fly back to GA

The best most important news is that Walker Tate Ostrander is the greatest gift to Stephen and I!  We are so ready for all of you to meet him!

Thank you for your prayers!  Please pray for Walker's health and for Doctors to have wisdom as they treat him.
And please continue to pray for the paperwork process...we are praying that when we get discharged from here that we literally can drive to the airport to come home

We love y'all and are so very thankful you are on this journey with us!
