Hello from the Seattle area:

Like an athletic swimmer who has been out of the pool due to certain home-life necessities, he or she has to get “back into the water”, after his or her trauma.  Thus, my recent 21 day ministry trip was – for me – a chance to “get back into the water” of ministry south of the border –– my call (and Debbie’s call) since the early 1980’s.   While in Mexico these past three weeks, I had extended time in Guadalajara, Oaxaca, Puebla, Queretaro, Tequisquiapan and Cabo San Lucas.   Overall, it allowed me to have a lot of relational time with many city leaders and pastors, whom I had already worked with in the past. Too, it also allowed me to think through and pray through my next steps.

For 2022, I am to have many ministry trips to Central and South America. I am asking our Savior, “Here I am Lord, send me” for what I hope to be the next two decades of my life.  I take my life-call seriously, and I suspect that the Lord does, too.
