During this ministry trip, Patrick had time in the Moskito Coast with a new missionary couple. This eastern seaboard sector of Honduras was a thrill as the sub-culutre was that of the ‘Miskito People’ and there seems to be a request for follow-up.While Patrick was in eastern Honduras, Debbie had an extended seven day time frame with her annual ladies conference. A GREAT QUANTITY of women came from many locations for this event, including two of Debbie’s ladies from Peru.Overall, one of the many highlghts from our time in Honduras was to find out that in the COPAN RUINAS sector that there is an evangelical church in nine out of ten Chorti communities. Also the church started while Deb and I lived in that town now has daughter and several Grand Daughter churches. Interestingly there were six churches in Copan Ruinas when we lived there (the Baptist church started was #7), but now the town hosts nearly 40 churches. You may recall that Deb and I lived in Copan Ruinas (1999 to 2003) as part of our 16 lovely years in Honduras (1993 to 2009).Other sectors too where we had time have also seen many new churches: — In San Pedro Sula we had time in one of the many new church plants.— In Gracias de Lempira, a big movement occurs.— In La Esperanza de Intibuca, a vibrant movemnt is ocurring.Take a look: https://youtu.be/WuBMyq_PtQcWatch "Patrick - - Fish boat // Moskito Coast Honduras (3/21/19) 43 sec video" on YouTubeLove to you!Patrick and Debbie _______________________________________________
