I went to Kenya the first-time last year and am going back again to work with the local mission team.  This mission team will be working on the coast of Kenya to continue our effort to help spread the gospel to the people group called the Digo. They are 99% Muslim and unreached. e3 Partners teams have worked several times within the region, and while progress is slow, several new house churches are started each time we journey to work with our faithful partners. Last year we baptized six new believers in the Indian Ocean on our last mission day.
The cost for the trip is $4,200 each person. The guideline for mission trips where each individual puts in out of their own pocket the first 1/3 of the total cost of the trip ($1,400), and then raises the rest of the 2/3 ($2,800).  My husband, Jaime and I had put in our 1/3 totaled to $2,800 for the two of us and we have to raise $5,600 in a short time.
