When we started our adoption journey, we were living in Florida, totally content in where the Lord had placed us. However, over a period of a couple of months, it was made clear to us that God had a new journey in store for us. We NEVER thought that He would call us to Fort Wayne, Indiana. We were sure that God was leading us closer to family and we began searching for ministry opportunities in South Carolina, Georgia, and North Carolina. However, many situations that can only be described as God guiding our steps...He made it clear that our ministry was calling us out of our (geographic) comfort zone! So, as soon as we finished our final homestudy visit, we packed our things and began transitioning to the midwest. Although we have only been here a couple of months, Fort Wayne and our church family feels like we should always have been here. We are so excited to expand our family and bring our new little one home to Indiana! We also are first time home buyers!!! This is another "God-thing" that we truly did not think was in the cards for us. He has orchestrated our steps so clearly in the last few months and we are excited for what the future holds!
