Next box checked!  We've completed our home study!  Kudos to Forever Families Adoption Services (our home study agency).  They were absolutely wonderful, and just made things happen.  We had all 4 of our interviews within 2 weeks, and the first draft of our report only 3 days after our last visit.  Clair, our awesome social worker, was just wonderful to work with.  She is so kind, and understanding and excited for us. She even loved the dog! A special thank you to those who wrote such glowing recommendations.  CCAI is now reviewing the report, and as soon as they are good, FFAS will wrap it up and send us the final copy.  Once we get the final report, we start the immigration process, which is another fee of $1,000.  Once we send everything in, that will probably be another 2 months or so, and then we can send everything to China!
