“Praise the Lord, for He is good!”Ps.135:3
He has been so very good to us! We are officially matched with a little 2-year old boy from India and still can’t believe what happened these past three days. With this testimony we want to give all the glory and praise to God. On Tuesday we got a referral call from our awesome adoption agency Lifeline India. They gave us the basic info of an orphan boy like name and birth date and asked if we were interested. We said yes and before we ever opened a file or saw any pictures God made it so clear to us that without the shadow of a doubt this is our son!!! We committed to adopt him before we ever saw a picture, because right after we hung up on the phone Cleon remembered that two years ago in January 2017 during “21 days of prayer and fasting” with Church of the Highlands he wrote in his prayer journal that he had the strong feeling that our child was already born. The boy in this referral was born in January 2017. I ran downstairs, found the journal, found that exact entry where he underlined the words that he feels like God is telling him that his child is already born - and realized that the date of this journal entry was EXACTLY the birthday of our sweet boy in the referral. Cleon also wrote in that entry that we will start filling out the first adoption forms that day! The eyes of the Lord saw him become an orphan in India and immediately his voice spoke to Cleon in Birmingham. Our son truly was never alone.
God has his hand all over this adoption and we are so amazed by his faithfulness. He is so real, so close to us and so faithful! To Him be all the glory!
Our referred child is still not legally ours and there are still many steps to be taken. Please keep praying for him and the adoption process!
