Hi,

Last year, my dad, Rojai, and I were given the opportunity to consider a mission trip with our church, Cross Church. At the time, I was struggling to meet new friends at church and I thought this would be my chance to connect with others in a meaningful way. In addition to this, I was thrilled when I found out the mission trip was in the Dominican Republic and that my dad would be willing to be a chaperone! From March 15 - 23 of this year, student missionaries will work with a local pastor, give sports ministries, have person to person evangelism, and minister to local kids.

We, Dad and I, have started a fundraiser on Pure Charity to raise the funds needed for the mission trip. We are asking for a one-time single donation of $33. Our goal is to raise $3,300 by March 10, 2019.  If I can get 100 people to donate $33 each, the cost of the trip will be covered!

Since this will be my first mission experience, I want to make the most of it! It’s been my dream to immerse myself into another culture while serving that community.  I hope you will consider being a part of this opportunity with me.

By participating in this mission with my dad, we will also be able to nurture our relationship while doing the Lord’s work.
