We have been really slacking on updating you all on the adoption process, but we were so focused on the yard sale.

Thank you again to everyone who donated, prayed, shopped the yard sale, and shared our post! Our final total was $2506 for Saturday and Sunday! God showed up big and we are so thankful!

In the midst of the yard sale, I forgot to share that we are officially Home Study approved!! That means that we have been declared fit to be adoptive parents and now we just fundraise and wait for the call that we have been matched.

The fundraising is a huge piece of adoption. An average adoption costs around $30K, with some being higher than that. On top of the initial expense, you have hotel and travel expenses if the baby is born out of state.

We have felt God say over and over that “He’s got us” and we are trusting that lead with our finances, the baby that God has on our heart, and every step of the process.
