Just a quick update to explain why I changed the goal amount. We have one remaining agency fee for $8,800, due when our case passes court. We have received a generous donation of $6,000 from the Gift of Adoption Foundation (wow!), and we have received $300 in donations since February (all donations prior to February were used toward a previous agency fee), which leaves $2,500 left for us to pay (which equals $3,738 total when added to the previous donation amounts). 

Plus, now the thermometer toward the goal amount is more accurate AND fun to look at!

Rest assured, we actually already have that $2,800 in savings. However, we would also need $7,000 for our pickup trip under normal circumstances, but now because of covid, whenever we do get to fly to Bulgaria, we'll have to quarantine for 14 days, turning what would normally be a 10-day trip into a 24-day trip, which will add significantly to expenses.

Donations made through AdoptTogether can only be applied to agency fees, not to travel expenses, so any donations made here will free up our savings budget to be applied to our travel expenses.
