Good day friends,

I hope this message finds you well and that the summer months have given you ample opportunity to both rest and enjoy time with friends and family.  I wanted to take some time to send you all an update on where we find ourselves in our search for our next ministry.

It is amazing to think that it has been almost 6 months since starting this journey. I've had the opportunity to meet and talk with many organizations and have interviewed for a handful of different roles. After much effort and seeking the Lord’s direction, we still find ourselves continuing to wait on Him. He is faithful and continues to provide. One source of His provision has been some part-time contract work through our church which has been very helpful.

We are so thankful for your continued financial support. As we continue down this road we do want to encourage you to consider putting your giving towards us on pause. We know that the Lord is faithful and will provide for our needs moving forward. As the Lord clarifies His direction and as the next role materializes, we will be sure to keep you updated.  We feel that at this point, without having any solid opportunities or positions immediately in front of us, we want to free you up to be able to consider giving towards other ministry opportunities at this time.

We are eager to see what the Lord has for us. We know that it will fulfill the desires of our hearts to both proclaim His gospel to the world and be an active part of changing lives. When that time comes it will be our joy to share that next step with you and, if needed, to invite you to join us in that.  Please pray for me as I consider where to direct my attention and that I would seek and trust the Lord in this process.
