ADOPTION

Brandon and I are excited to announce our plans to grow our family! God is leading us to adopt a child from China! We're so excited to bring our son home this year, and watch him grow with our family! Please keep us in your prayers during this journey. We have already received PA (pre-approval) from China for a specific child. We have completed our home study by an approved agency, and we have received approval from immigration to bring a child into the country! It's an exciting journey to be on! God is so good, and has called us to step out in faith. We hope to go to China around August to meet him for the first time when we pick him up to bring him home! We will call him Micah!

The cost of an International adoption is around $34,000. We are personally committed to this process, and have pursued numerous grants and fundraisers. We have received $6000 in grants thus far which has been such a blessing! We have also raised about $2000 collectively through various smaller fundraisers. Thanks to all our friends and family for your support! We received one special adoption donation which was very sentimental since it was in honor of my Granny who recently passed away. Thank you so much to all of you who were a part of that collective gift.

It's been our dream to adopt for a long time. Every child deserves a loving family. Just as God adopted us into his family, we hope to adopt this child into ours. Adopting one child won't change the world, but for the one child the world will change! We realize everyone can't adopt, but everyone can help make an impact on orphans around the world in some way. Please help them in what ever way God lays on your heart.
