Take Action Ministry is doing orphan prevention and family empowerment projects in Hammanskraal, a rural area north of Pretoria, South Africa. The work focuses on education, healthcare, economic opportunity, and spiritual development in order to transform communities and keep vulnerable children with their families.

The #TenDollarTribe is a group of people who commit to giving $10 a month to Take Action Ministry to enable the work they do. Your generosity will serve as a foundational element of support for the communities and children in Hammanskraal. Through this, our hope is to alleviate the pressures of extreme poverty and keep families together.

Your $10 will be used to provide everything from hot meals for students to school and teacher supplies to cooking fuel. For example, $10 will buy 100 bowls of porridge for school children, or it might instead provide 7 cooked meals, or a month’s worth of school supplies, or two weeks of cooking fuel for a local family. Get this--$10 is a Caregiver's full wage for a day! As always, this work is being accomplished through amazing local leaders at each Partner Centre that Take Action works with.

We truly believe that a large #TenDollarTribe will bring immediate and lasting change to the Hammanskraal communities, and that will seep out into the entire country of South Africa.
