Hey all ... here is an update we got on Tom today from Ethiopia...

"Tom’s passport will be ready for pick up tomorrow (Friday). We found a medical student who knows Tom and really cares about him and he is willing to go with Tom. This is total God’s thing I know the medical student speaks Tigrayna, Amharic and is fluent in English as well as has great deal of communication He will be able to relate to us any information with the necessary updates. And he knows and loves Tom. I am super excited about this answer to prayer. But he too need passport but he has already filed for it and it will be ready for pick up on Tuesday February 18.

We are still waiting to hear from the <foreign country> Hospital for go ahead that they can do the surgery, Completed referral and medical record was sent to the hospital. In the meantime we are lining up things for possible surgery here in Ethiopia just in case the other plan fails. So, please pray for the door that we to take became clear by our heavenly Father. We still do not know the cost of the medical care and we will not know until they have made their complete review and decided on the kind of the surgery they will do. One of the delay is due to the fact some of the images such as the CT scan and ultrasound sent had problems that they could not download or/and open it. So we asked the hospital to resend the file again from the hospital here to the <foreign country>  hospital. So pray that all the file makes it to this hospital and can be reviewed well and soon. And pray for Tom, for peace and comfort from up above. And pray for me as I try to help him navigate this."
