Can you believe it?  I leave for Galati in just two weeks.  My plane leaves Monday, January 25th.  I'm beginning to think about packing.  How does a girl who has lived in Florida for the last 6 years pack for Romanian winter??  Yikes!  I'm thinking about how to communicate in a new language.  I've found some useful phrases:
Hello-Bună ziua
How are you-Ce faci?
Nice to meet you-Îmi pare bine
Thank you-Mulţumesc
And of course the necessary:
Where is the bathroom?-Unde este toaleta?

But more than these things I'm starting to think about the plans God has for me on this trip.  Yes, it is an  internship.  But, more than that I get the privilege of showing God's love to the people of Romania.  I have the unbelievable opportunity to join Jesus in His mission for Romania for the next six weeks.  I don't know what that looks like but I'm getting ready!
