My name is Teah Maxwell Dugbeh. I was born in Sinkor Monrovia, Liberia,a neighboring country to Sierra Leone. May 14, 1982 is the day God brought me to this planet earth through a humble woman who is my mother and a strong man who is my father. I was born out of wedlock but both parents were Christians.
I attended the Esther Tapeh Memorial Primary School and proceeded to the African Christian Fellowship High School.
In 1990 the war broke out in Liberia, and I could not continue my education because there was a break down in the educational system. We were forcefully recruited to join the fighting force, and I was part. Thanks be to God who threw his grace and mercies upon me and I was able to survive so many attacks from different rebel factions. God was able to take me to Sierra Leone during the thick of the war. It was not easy for me to survive, I became a refugee. Through the help of God I was trained to be a builder through which I was able to survive. I became a Christian through a pastor back in Liberia who encouraged us not to give up but to put our hope and trust in God as all about our life is not finished. In Sierra Leone I lived in a slum community called Kroo Bay, I began attending a church in Kroo Bay and serve as the assistant pastor through my work as a carpenter. I became connected to the ministry Word Made Flesh where I now serve as a staff
