Hi! We think of our Backers way more than you would think, based on the number of updates we write.  We still have nothing new to report about our adoption.  We have heard rumors that our paperwork is moving through the system, but know better than to bank on anything that is hearsay.  Right now we are just waiting for Haitian Social Services to "match" our family with two siblings whose gender is unspecified.  In other words, there are two children between the ages of 2-8 that have a family waiting for them, but they don't know who we are, and we don't know who they are!  The waiting will become excruciating once we know these things.

John and Luke will be headed to Haiti with Healing Haiti next week for 7 days.  We are so excited that Luke will be able to experience Haiti with his dad and get to know the culture and people where his siblings are coming from.

We will be posting updates and photos from their trip on our blog.  Again, the best way to keep up with everything going on with our adoption as things (hopefully) begin happening soon is to FOLLOW our blog.  On the right sidebar of our blog there is a place that says "Follow" where you enter your email address.  You will then receive blog posts as an email and you don't ever have to go into the blog itself, or try to remember the name of it, or miss out on anything big.  You will NOT get on any other mailing lists or start receiving junk mail because of it.  Wordpress is a very reputable blog site.
