Hi everyone--humbling to see the backing we are getting from you all.  We are almost halfway to our goal of $10K!  John and I are excited to be progressing as best we can in this journey.  I'm headed to the Secretary of State's office tomorrow in person to get all of the notarized documents from our dossier "authenticated" and get certificates of "authentication" for them.  Apparently a notary signature is not enough.  You need another certificate/signature saying the notary's signature is legit.  Maybe after that we need another signature from the President of the US saying the Secretary of State's signature is legit?   Who knows?  But we think probably not on that one. :)  Still just trying to take it one step at a time.  There are a few things we can be doing while we are waiting for Immigration to give us approval to bring our kids back to the States at the end of all this.  Getting our dossier authenticated is one of those things, so I'm hoping to take care of that tomorrow.

Our realtor will be back from Florida on Saturday and we will start having private showings of our house next week before it officially hits the market.  We are praying it never actually hits the market.  If we can avoid such things that would be fantastic!

Thanks again for your support, both emotional and financial.  We are riding a wave of gratitude that is amazing--all the while imagining getting off the plane from Haiti with our kids in tow.  Bring it!
