We have surpasses our goal of $10,000 and raised $11,236!  You cannot know how helpful this is for us in the long run with this adoption and all the changes going on in our lives.  Our house is SOLD.  It sold in three short days.  We have since purchased a house about 2 miles directly west of us.  It is more than we could have asked or imagined when we set out on this journey.  Gold shag carpeting, wallpaper, and all!  Bottom line:  it has exactly what our family will need--no MORE and no LESS.  God is good.  Our kids can stay in the same schools with their friends, and I can continue with my PTA duties as President for next year at their elementary school.  The timing of everything is quite crazy and, as we believe, nothing was a coincidence.  If you'd like to read the whole story (and haven't already) click on this link:

As I type this, our dossier is on it's way to Haiti to be delivered to the orphanage and government there.  We still believe it will be about a year until we bring anyone home.  Still hoping and planning on siblings, both under the age of 8.  This would make them both younger than our youngest child.  While the waiting is hard, we are trusting that God is fully in charge and is working out the timing (just as He did with our house sale and purchase) perfectly.  Once in Haiti our dossier will make it's way through all the rounds of government approvals and offices...this could vary wildly in how long it takes at each hurdle.

If you are the praying type would you please remember to pray for our children in Haiti?  Even though we don't know who they are, God does.  Pray for their protection from illness and injury (which are frequent in Haiti).  Pray they would have enough food each day and access to medical care if they are ill.  Most of all, pray that they have someone to love and watch over them until we can go get them and bring them home.
