Thank you. Times $30,000!For your support. For your love. For your likes. For your donations. For your high fives. Your kind words. And your giving actions.
Tonight, on the eve of race week for the 5th Annual TRIFEST for MS and countdown to Team Endurance for MS's 2016 home race, you helped our #fundracing4MS efforts meet our initial $30,000 goal. INCREDIBLE.
On the Power of EndurancePeople impacted by MS endure and encourage us onward, despite circumstances. It’s our aim to capture that spirit and share encouragement forward through the power of endurance sports and adventures.
Team Endurance for MS is an endurance fundracing team. This means we have FUN, train and RACE and garner SUPPORT for MS RESEARCH. Started in Northwest Arkansas, our members now race across the country. Running, biking, swimming, triathlon and more–a
ny race, any place can bring encouragement through the power of endurance.
By the Numbers:
-
2014: 16 members, $17,500 raised, Team Captain: Triathlon Pro Morgan Chaffin
-
2015: 30 members, $30,000 raised, Team Captain: Triathlon Pro Nick Waninger
-
2016: 75 members, $30,000 raised AND COUNTING! Team Captain: Ironman Ryan Dagley
On the Impact of EnduranceAs a result of 2015 efforts, our Foundation
gave its largest check yet to the MS research doctors at the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences in the amount of $90,000 ($30,000 from 2015 Team Endurance for MS #fundracing4MS activities and $60,000 from the 2015 Trifest for MS).
Yet this year's story is still being written! When we started our 2016 efforts, we had 50 members and set a goal of $30,000. And then 75 members joined. And this team goes hard and goes big. Together, we've set an internal team goal of $40,000--which we now share with you. Can we do it?!
We especially want to lift up our sponsors:
Signature Bank,
Munson Chiropractic,
Cott Beverages,
JUNK Brands,
Advocare,
The Grey Barn,
Cal's Custom Homes and
Pure Charity--their support helped us achieve this initial $30,000 mark and secure our team swag (uniforms).
Upping the AnteWhile many team members have met their goal, some are in the final stretches. Others are just getting started. Please take a moment to
read, share and support their stories as they goes #fundracing4MS.
We'll share more with you throughout this week--so you can learn more about us and get to know some of the hearts involved and how we're changing lives to save lives.
Hero on friends!
Love,
