Team Endurance for MS Support Para-Triathletes
Members serve as volunteer coaches and buddies for Trifest for MS Paratriathletes A number of team members served as volunteer coaches and buddies for kid paratriathletes participating in the fifth annual TRIFEST for MS. Pictured, team member, Stephanie Cochran, crosses the Trifest for MS finish line as buddy to new triathlete, Justin!
Paratriathletes participated in the Foundation's 6-week training series coached by Team Endurance for MS member and certified triathlon coach Adam Fortin. During the training series, each kid was partnered with a buddy who swam, biked and ran by their side during training and during race day.
The Rampy MS Research Foundation received a grant from the Bentonville School District to support scholarships for up to 50 kids through the Foundation's paratriathlete training and race program. This two-year partnership grew from the district's support for 20 paratriathletes last year.
Know that when you support Team Endurance for MS, you not only support MS research--you encourage us as team members to grow community with others. Read more on the school district and Foundation's partnership in NWA's Democrat Gazette's coverage of the Trifest for MS paratriathlon--which also features Team Endurance for MS member Deana Horn!
