This week has been a whirlwind, to say the least! On Monday, we celebrated the 11th birthday of Daniel, whom we still refer to (and always will) as our baby boy. Goodness, they grow up way to fast! Fun fact, Daniel received a total of $340 for his birthday and spent $240 of it on books, 1 4D brain anatomy model, and 1 3D brain nightlight! The other $100 was specifically for new shoes, a new bike helmet, and safety pads! To say Daniel loves to read would be an extreme understatement!
Today, Dan and I went to take our passport photos and we ordered our passports, how exciting! We were asked if we were going somewhere exciting, like a destination honeymoon. Our destination plans are far bigger then that (in our eyes at least) and we told her we are traveling to (God willing)
Eastern Europe later this year for our adoption journey. We have two sweet littles who we just can't wait to bring home! She was excited for us and that made us smile so big. Of course, we had to stop smiling for the passport photo as apparently that is a "no no" LOL.
Money Talk: So, drum roll please! This week we have raised another $260! This went to our passport fee's, as the total amount spent for passports/photos was $322.50. It has been amazing to see God provide. This week, the money was raised by doing a deep cleaning on a house :)
Updates on paperwork sent to the MOJ: We are currently awaiting word from our MOJ, which we were told takes 2-4 weeks, and its such a hard wait! Once that step is approved, an official "soft hold" will be placed for our sweet little ones and then its more paperwork and a lot more fundraising!
On another note, we would like to just thank you for taking the time to read our story and our updates. We know that it isn't always an easy task and we truly appreciate it. We also want to thank everyone for sharing our page and our story. Every share helps and every single penny helps as well! No amount is to small, if you feel lead to donate then please know that we will absolutely appreciate it! We also want all of our donors to know that once our adoption journey has ended and we have our babies home, we will be having a bonded book made with every single name who helped bring our babies home! We would love for your name to be included! Thank you again, so very much, and have a great night!
"Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen. And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister." 1 John 4:20-21
