There are a lot of things we do really well when serving our foster and adoptive homes and there are a few things that we could do better. One of those things that I see being done well within other CALL affiliates around the state is having a Clothes Closet (or CALL Mall) on-site with their office so the items needed by foster homes are easier for them to access.
While we DO have clothes closets here in NWA, they're currently housed in two storage units- one in Fayetteville and one in Rogers. Anytime a family needs access to clothes or equipment they need to make an appointment with one of our volunteers to meet up. While this is helpful, it isn't convenient for our homes. We're just not serving them well in this capacity.
Wouldn’t it be fantastic if a home could get a call at 10am on a Thursday about taking in an 8yo boy then could swing by the office, pick up a few things, and be fully equipped to take him in by 11am?!
It’s time for us to make this a reality for the foster homes in NWA!

An on-site Clothes Closet would…
- make necessary items easier to access for our families
- allow us to accept more donations
- make donating to our closets easier
- provide us with a more opportunities to engage our volunteers
- give us more chances to connect with our foster and adoptive parents
So....our big dream is to move into a new office with space for an on-site Clothes Closet for our foster families.
Here’s where you come in. Give generously. Let's all chip in to make this dream a reality!
We'd love it if you'd share the link and why you give on your social media pages, too!
