Welcome to our adoption fundraising page!

 As many of you know, our hearts beat for community and family. We love activity and movement in our home. We enjoy friends and family sharing life together at our table and it is our desire to expand our family with children. In August of 2015 our twin girls, Emery and Everley were born prematurely and our sweet wildflowers never made it home.

Since then we have traveled the journey of grief and loss, working hard to grieve well and care for one another. We've hoped tirelessly for another little bit to be conceived and though we've been discouraged, we aren't giving up!

After losing Emery and Everley to pre-term birth and struggling with the ups and downs of trying to conceive, we decided to step into a long time calling to become adoptive parents. In 2016 we began the domestic adoption process with Lifeline Children’s Services because we are really supportive of how they care for and help support birth families, specifically birth mamas. In January of 2017, we were unexpectedly blessed with the news that we were pregnant and in September of 2017, we gave birth to our third child, Ansel Aimes. Our agency required placing our adoption “on hold” while pregnant with Aimes and during his first year of life. This gave us the opportunity to survive the newborn days and enjoy parenting before pursuing growth for our family through adoption. In the fall of 2018, we put in the work, alongside our social worker, to update our application, home study, and profile books. Since home study (re)approval, we’ve been preparing our home and finances for our next little one.

I (Stephanie) have always seen pictures of our girls dancing in a field of wildflowers. A few months ago I had a picture of a honeybee that represented our future baby. It was buzzing about a field of wildflowers and my heart smiled wide thinking of our whole family. When we began the house buying process I started finding honeycombs everywhere and picking out subtle throws to our honeybee, hoping one day it would all fill a nursery. Through this creative (and the laborious process of buying our house) Hunter and I believe that we conceived our honeybee, not in utero, but in our hearts. We feel strongly this little bee is coming to our family in his or her own way....Adoption!

Adoption is something that Steph and I (Hunter) have discussed since we began dating and has continued to be at the forefront of our hearts, mind, and family ministry. Over the years, we have adopted several people into our home and community. During these seasons, we have grown and learned so much about the heart of the Father and His love for adoption. So much so, that we have taken on that love for adoption ourselves. While we have always planned on adopting, we now know that this is the time. This is the season.

Through this season, we are thrilled to invite you alongside our family as it grows. The adoption agency we chose, Lifeline Children Services, invests heavily in the physical, mental and emotional care of our birth mom. We see her as part of our growing family too! We won't know the logistical details of our relationship with her for sometime but we care about her needs and chose an agency where a large portion of our adoption fees provide for her.

That being said, we need help! Like, serious financial help! We want to bring home our honeybee, provide for our birth mom and make the logistics go as smoothly as possible.
