I can't believe I haven't updated this page or my blog with our big news so here goes: We are so excited to be welcoming a 3 year old precious little girl! She is cute and sassy. She is very healthy but she is completely blind. She has been blind since birth and she seems to get along just fine! We are using this in-between time while we are waiting on a court date to learn about raising a blind child and seeing what resources are available in our area. God has been affirming this decision every day. Each day we get little gifts that make our situation seem less and less daunting. Whether it is through finding out about a great place she can visit or a great toy she will love or meeting other families with blind children who are a wealth of knowledge, great things are happening and we are so ready for her to be HOME FOREVER!
