We received some news last week about a matching grant. We were accepted by Abby's Grant and Lifesong for a 7,000 dollar matching grant under THEIR FUNDRAISING ACCOUNT!! We will be creating an account in the next couple of days and place the link on here so you can donate under their grant so it will be matched by them up to $7,000. Unfortunately, this fundraiser doesn't count toward their matching grant. We will keep this fundraiser and create a different one for the matching grant. How it will work is anything donated up to the $7,000 on THEIR giving platform will be matched by them. Thank you for understanding and we will try to get that set up as soon as possible.

So many are asking us, "When will you get a child?" "What are you doing now?"

When will we get a child?
We don't really know when it will happen, but are confident it will be in God's timing. It could happen tomorrow, it could be in 10 months. The adoption agency says usually within a year we are placed with a child. We are waiting, anticipating, and trusting God. We have the nursery mostly set up, the diaper bag is packed, and the carseat is ready to install. When we receive “the call,” we will most likely have to be ready to go within 24 hours.

What are we doing now?
Going through the adoption process has been a whirlwind the last year and a half. From interest meetings to mounds and mounds of seemingly endless paperwork to more informational meetings and to the home study it has been a lot of busy. Now we are done with all the busy and have time to think, pray and reflect on where God has us. We were able to go on a family (Tim's side) vacation in NC recently which is always fun. We have been working and spending time with family and friends. We found out that our owner at Chick-fil-A is leaving sometime this year and moving to another store closer to his family. Through all of that, Tim is currently looking for another job that will provide enough income to where Brittany can stay home with the child when he or she arrives. Please be in prayer for that. other than that, we have been spending time with our local church, at the beach and currently watching the FIFA World Cup.

We appreciate you all so much. The amount of encouragement, prayer, support and financial sacrifice each of you have given is incredible. Words are not enough to thank each of you.
