WOW! The time for us to head to Ethiopia is rapidly approaching! Only 38 days until we’ll be on a plane to Ethiopia! I get excited and nervous all at the same time, but I know God is getting ready to work in mighty ways during our time there! 
This past weekend our team took a surprise road trip adventure  up to Wichita Mountain in Oklahoma - it was SUCH a fun time of getting to bond with our teammates and just have a blast! We did a little bit of hiking, I feel like it was a little bit of preparation for what we’ll be doing in Ethiopia! 
In our training meeting on Sunday, we found out we will be going to Assela, Ethiopia. Apparently it is a BEAUTIFUL, mountainous region of Ethiopia, 8,000 feet above sea level. I can’t wait to experience God’s creation as we hike to tell Ethiopians about Jesus, who may have never heard his name, and may never have seen a white person before! 

Please continue to pray for us as we get closer to departure. There are many trials that will arise between now and then, and I pray God protects us from any major issues. 
Please pray that the 2 trips as a whole get fully funded! As of Sunday, as a whole, we are still $29,000 shy of our total trip cost. Although I am fully funded (thanks to God’s generous provision), I would love to help raise above and beyond to help those who are short! If you donate more on my page, it will go to help those that are still in need. If we raise over the total trip cost, it will help provide for the Ethiopian missionaries with ministry supplies! So it’s a win-win.
