Hello Friends!

Back in the summer of 2016 and 2018, I had the incredible opportunity to go on a short-term mission trip to Ethiopia with other young adults from my home church, Watermark Community Church. I have been blessed with the opportunity to return again to Ethiopia this July! After both times in Ethiopia, my love for the people and the country has grown immensely, and getting to see God at work through our time there is such a blessing! We get to share the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ with those who may have never heard his name before, and it is an incredible honor to be a part of. Although it is sad we are not able to follow up and see these people grow in their faith and the life change that follows, it is comforting knowing that there are Ethiopian Christians who follow up with them and help disciple the new believers that we encounter during our time there.

Sharing the gospel in Ethiopia really helped me see how BIG God truly is and how it is not by what we do, but by His power, that people come to believe in Him! I am excited to get to experience God’s “BIG-ness” again in Ethiopia and be a part of the great commission of sharing the name of Jesus, and being reminded of how great God truly is. God is continually growing me in different ways, and one way He does that is definitely through these short-term mission trips! It helps remind me that I need to continually get out of my comfort zone for Him – whether that is in Ethiopia or right here in Dallas.

About the trip: Watermark Community Church is joining e3 Partners Ministry this July in Ethiopia. We are partnering with local Ethiopian Christians to outreach, build relationships, and share Christ with Ethiopians who have never heard the name of Jesus. The vision of e3 in Ethiopia is to add to the number of those who believe and to grow by planting churches within the unreached peoples of Ethiopia. We will be helping them with their vision! But we can't do this alone... We need your help! It takes a team to tackle this vision!

The most important need is for your PRAYERS for the spiritual battles that lie ahead and for the work that God will do through this effort.
