I am beyond ecstatic and blessed to have the opportunity to travel to Southeast Asia on a medical mission trip this summer. With this amazing opportunity, I will help educate families on Human Trafficking and help meet medical needs with general medicine, reading glasses and community health. Along with other nursing students in my program, I will be creating local health clinics and providing care for the people in the villages. The organization will also partner with local churches to share God’s word, helping to transform lives and give spiritual support. I cannot wait to begin my career of providing holistic healthcare, and this is the first, exciting step.
